Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is a way to correct the unsightly aspect of the nose: too long, too wide, too small, deviated; with a bump; broad, globular, drooping tip; nostrils flattened or too wide, etc.

The objective is to achieve a natural and harmonious-looking nose that is balanced with the rest of the face and surrounding features, while also appealing to the patient’s personality and meeting their requirements.

The intervention provides a morphological and aesthetic improvement as well as psychological benefits.
The scar is generally located inside the nose, with a tiny 3 mm scar at the base of the columella.

Post-operative consultations

One week after the operation to remove the splint
Followed by three other appointments to verify results: 1 month, 3 months, and 1 year after the intervention

  • Anesthesia: general
  • Intervention duration: 2 to 3 hours

Surgery follow-up

  • Pain level: none
  • Additional information: breathing only through the mouth until removal of gauze packing the day after the intervention
  • Visible signs: bruising for 7 to 15 days & nose swelling
  • Constraint & duration: Splint to be worn for 1 week
  • Resume regular activities: immediately
  • Resume sports: Avoid contact sports for 2 to 3 months. You may resume gentle sports (such as gym and yoga) after 1 week.
  • Results: good visible results after 3 months, definitive results after 6 months to 1 year
